Deep Tissue, Articulation and Meridian Stretches

Deep Tissue manipulation reaches the deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down adhesions and relieve trigger points throughout the body. This treatment is beneficial for those who sit for long periods of time and suffer from low back pain.

Articulation uses a short distance and low speed of movement within the patients pain free range of motion while in dysfunction. This stimulates the bodies natural lubricating system to flood the joint which increases range of motion, decreases pain or both.

Meridian stretches work on the connective tissue within the belly of the muscle being stretched. The traction and the deeper pressure are beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia.

I combine these 3 modalities to help you out of restrictions that cause pain and discomfort, to set you on better mobility and prevent injuries.

Myofascial Release, Sport Massage

and Soft Tissue Manipulation

Sports massage is a specific type of soft tissue manipulation to benefit a person engaged in regular physical activity. Soft tissue is connective tissue that includes skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia (a form of connective tissue that lines and encloses the other soft tissues).

This treatment is designed to assist in correcting disfunctions resulting from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma. Receiving this treatment, prior to and after exercise, may enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury.

This treatment works very well in combination with dry needling to remove trigger points and fascia decompression cupping therapy, to alleviate local adhesions and remove toxins.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Relaxing

and Holistic Massage

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of treatment to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.

MLD is good to recover after surgery, as it regenerates tissues to reduce scarring at surgical incision sites. Lymph drainage also reduce swelling and detoxify the body.

It is a very gentle treatment that promotes deep relaxation and emotional wellbeing and helps you deal with anxiety.

It is used in combination with stationary cupping therapy to remove toxins and stagnation and a gentle head and foot holistic massage.
