Dr Clare Kevis is a highly qualified and experienced Chartered Clinical Psychologist. During her career she has worked with clients with complex psychological needs in the NHS, private and not-for-profit sectors. She has been a Clinic Psychologist since 1983 and completed her doctorate in 2001.
As a Clinical Psychologist, Dr Kevis is able to formulate the psychological problem or problems facing her clients and discuss the appropriate therapy programme.
Dr Kevis is a qualified CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) clinician but will also use other appropriate therapies including Supportive Psychotherapy and Solution Focussed Therapy. Where necessary, she will liaise with other Healthcare Professionals such as Consultant Psychiatrists, Dieticians, Rheumatologists and Physiotherapists to ensure all aspects of her clients’ needs are addressed.
Dr Kevis is registered with the Health Professions Council and is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She specialises in the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Pain Management, Life Adjustment problems, Anger Management, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Depression and Anxiety.
