Dr Kate Robinson BSc Hons, DClinPsy, AFBPsS is a chartered clinical psychologist and accredited Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner with over 10 years’ experience of working therapeutically in the NHS.
Kate works with adults and adolescents (16+ years) with longstanding emotional and psychological difficulties, as well as those struggling with an acute crisis or periods of stress. Kate's areas of particular specialism are helping people to move on from traumatic events, improve their confidence, develop healthier relationships with food and/or their bodies, and learn to manage difficult emotions (such as anxiety).
Kate completed her postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2010. Since then Kate has worked in a busy Community Mental Health Team in South London and is currently one of the lead psychologists, offering specialist interventions for people struggling with anxiety, depression, personality difficulties and trauma.
Kate has completed advanced training in Schema Therapy, a specific type of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Kate also draws upon mindfulness techniques in her work.
